Reader asks citizens to focus on real issues

| July 27, 2012 6:00 AM

There is so much talk about our candidates. First they wanted proof of Obama's birth certificate, everybody trying to put down our president. He's not a miracle worker to try and fix other presidents before him and their mistakes. Also, if Romney has nothing to hide, why not show your back taxes? All this talk about jobs and money, or who's being taxed. Nobody is satisfied. This is politics: blaming each other and scraping out each candidate's dirty past, making this like Nixon in Watergate. There's be jobs if factories were made here instead of having exported goods. So much needs to be done. All this money wasted on politics could've been used in other ways.

Those that have money worry about taxes. How about the lower class? Some barely make enough to get by at the end of the month. People already struggle with their healthcare; some can't afford to see a doctor. Let's focus on the real issues our country faces. No one can look into the future and say what will happen. Our country has gone through so much losing loved ones in 9/11 and in our wars helping other contries. Register to vote.
