Late-night fire on Wheeler

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake fire crews responded to an industrial fire late Monday night at Laserfab, 2000 E. Wheeler Road.

Fire chief Tom Taylor said fire fighters spent an hour on scene mopping up and clearing smoke after a filter fire was reported at the metal fabrication company around 9:45 p.m.

Moses Lake police officers were also dispatched to help with traffic control.

Taylor said that, aside from the filter, there was no reportable property damage.

Officials with Laserfab were not available for comment.
