Worship and the Word in the Park this Sunday

QUINCY - Seven churches are joining together for a service of celebration and the Word for the community this Sunday, July 22.

Worship in the Park will be held in East Park at 10 a.m. There will be a barbecue afterward.

The seven churches are Quincy Nazarene Church, Quincy Community Church, Faith Community, Quincy Free Methodist, Quincy First Assembly, First Presbyterian Church and St. Paul Lutheran.

"You are definitely invited to be a part of this gathering, and you should go away filled - filled with the Spirit, the Word, songs of inspiration, fellowship, and good food." spokesperson Kaye Baumgartner said.

"Bring yourselves and a lawn chair if you'd like. There's always good shade and usually a nice breeze," she added.
