Roger DeVon Larsen
Roger DeVon Larsen, 62, a longtime resident of Moses Lake passed away suddenly July 15, 2012 while at work in Almira. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories concluding with full military honors. Roger was born on April 18, 1950 in Ontario, Oregon son of the late DeVon and Isabelle (Mitchell) Larsen. As a young child, his family moved to Moses Lake and Roger has lived here since. He was married to Judy Flower and they had three children, Perry, Justus and Daydra. Roger enlisted in the U.S. Army in April of 1970 and was honorably discharged in April of 1976. He worked for Flodin's and since July 2002 worked as a mechanic/welder/fabricator for National Frozen Foods. Roger was an amazing father who truly loved and supported his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and traveling to see family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by three children, Perry and Trish Larsen, Coeur d' Alene, ID, Justus Larsen, Moses Lake, and Daydra Larsen, Moses Lake; seven grandchildren, Shayley Rodriquez, Julian Cardenas, Alexander Cardenas, Donny Smith, Tanner Larsen, Tyler Larsen and Kadynce Larsen-Maslanka.
Besides his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife Judy in 2004.
