MOSES LAKE - A myriad of electrical storms still plague the basin, with another one raging through Monday night.
Though local fire departments and fire districts only report small spot fires, more than 2,000 Grant County PUD customers were without power due to the storm.
Some residents in Quincy, Warden, George and rural Moses Lake lost power around 10 p.m. Monday night, PUD spokeswoman Rita Bjork said.
"We had crews out throughout the night just hitting outages that were coming in," she said.
Tuesday morning, 90 percent of the affected customers had working electricity again.
Remaining power loss was contained in Warden, Quincy and Soap Lake.
