    Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Subdivision application received by Grant County on July 2, 2012 from Richard B. Hansen (Designated Contact:  Gilbert C. Bailey, Columbia NW Engineering, 249 North Elder Street, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-766-1226), was found to be technically complete on July 02, 2012.  PROJECT:  A Short Subdivision of approximately 141.5 acres in order to create four (4) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.  As proposed, Lot 1 will be approximately 2.32 acres in size, with no current development on the site. Lot 2 will be approximately 2.50 acres in size, with an existing manufactured home, garage, storage building and a cargo container. Lot 2 will continue to be used for residential purposes. Lot 3 will be approximately 1.28 acres in size, with an existing single-family residence, septic system and well. Lot 3 will continue to be used for residential purposes. Lot 4 will be approximately 131.35 acres, and will continue its present agricultural use. STUDIES REQUIRED:  None.  LOCATION:  The site address of the subject parcel is 4481 NE Mae Valley Road, Moses Lake, WA.  It is located approximately a quarter mile North of I-90, bordering both Road D NE and Mae Valley Road in the NW quarter of Section 26, Township 19 North, Range 27 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #16-1547-000).  PRESENT ZONING:  Agriculture.  PUBLIC HEARING:  None.  CONSISTENCY STATEMENT:  This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.  Copies of application materials (File #12-5708) are available from Connor Lange, Grant County Planning Department, 457 1st Avenue NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509)754-2011, ext. 614.  Office hours:  8 am-12 noon, 1-5 pm, M-F.  Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm on July 30, 2012.  Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile.  All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.  This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
