MOSES LAKE - A 2-year-old emaciated Moses Lake boy has been transferred from Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane to an undisclosed separate location.
The child, discovered May 2 where mother Michelle Staats, 32, was administering CPR, has exhibited signs of extreme malnourishment, no muscle tone and a core temperature of 89 degrees, among other symptoms.
He was initially not expected to survive.
Staats, along with husband Robert, have not been charged with any crimes, according to the Grant County Prosecutor's Office, on Thursday.
