SERVICES: Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Trinity Fellowship West Sanctuary with Alejandro Rodarte officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Cox Funeral Home.

BURIAL: Graveside services will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Hereford at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 with Vincente Garcia officiating under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

BIOGRAPHY: Cesar was born in Dimmitt, May 16, 1959 to Filemon and Margarita Valdez. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1977 and married the love of his life, Mary Helen Gallegos, on June 25, 1977. Together, they had just celebrated 35 years of sharing life together. He worked for Excel Machinery for over 25 years and was loved by all the people he worked with. Cesar was a member of Trinity Fellowship and was a very spiritual Christian man who led by example. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Cesar enjoyed camping with his family and scouting with his grandson. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed tinkering in his shop. His passion was helping others, and participating in all of his grandchildren's activities, and being his granddaughter's knight in shining armor. Cesar is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Enrique and Adelina Galvan.

Medina, Klover R. Medina, Olita Mei Early-Valdez, Cesar G. Valdez III; siblings: Hector Adamos and wife Eva of Moses Lake, WA, Adela Moreno and husband Chopo of Moses Lake, WA, Angie Vigil and husband Fidel of Hereford, Filemon G. Valdez, Jr. and wife Leticia of Hereford, Veva Valdez of Canyon, Diana DeLeon and husband Joe of Round Rock, Jarvis Valdez of San Angelo, James Valdez and wife Elsa of Lubbock; aunt, Esmeralda Alvarado and husband David of Moses Lake, WA; and numerous other family and friends.
