Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit and SEPA Checklist were received on 4/25/12 from Grant County Public Works, 124 Enterprise St. SE, Ephrata, WA 98823, and was found to be Technically Complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of 7/2/12.

    Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit and SEPA Checklist were received on 4/25/12 from Grant County Public Works, 124 Enterprise St. SE, Ephrata, WA 98823, and was found to be Technically Complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of 7/2/12. PROJECT:  Establish a surface mining operation on a 40 acre portion of a parcel in Grant County.  The operation will include mining, crushing, and stockpiling of aggregates to be used for road maintenance and construction within Grant County.  ADDITIONAL PERMITS:  DNR Mining Permit.  STUDIES REQUIRED:  None known at this time.  LOCATION:  The site is located along Rd. E SW, in a portion of the S 1/2 of S. 20, T. 16 N, Range 26 E, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #16-0138-000. ZONING: Rural Remote. PUBLIC HEARING: Hearings Examiner meeting is tentatively scheduled at 12:00 noon, September 12, 2012, in the Commissioners' Hearing Room of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, international Building Code, and International Fire Code.
