NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR FOOD MANAGEMENT SERVICES

The Moses Lake School District (MLSD) is accepting written food service proposals from qualified food service management companies (FSMCs) to provide food services according to Local Education Agency (LEA) specifications.

Sealed proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. 7/30/2012. Proposals received after scheduled closing will not be considered.

The MLSD reserves the right to accept any proposal which it deems most favorable to its interests. It also reserves the right to waive any informalities and irregularities and reject any and/or all proposals or any portion of any proposal submitted which in the MLSD's opinion is not in the best interest of the Moses Lake School District.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on 7/17/2012 1:00 p.m. at the address listed above. Each FSMC is limited to a maximum of two representatives. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is strongly recommended if a FSMC intends to submit a proposal. The purpose of this conference is to answer questions related to the MLSD's food service program.

No FSMC may withdraw or alter its proposal after the time set for opening thereof, provided, if the award of contract is delayed for a period of more than forty-five (45) days from the date of opening and a new request for proposals is made, amended proposals may be made.
