Moses Lake man killed in wreck

MOSES LAKE - A 38-year-old Moses Lake man died in a motorcycle wreck along Pinto Ridge Road NE late last Friday night.

Jeffrey L. Essex, the driver, was found dead at the scene just before midnight.

Kimberly M. Buche, 30, of Spokane, was in the vehicle in the passenger's side. She was transported to MedStar to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. As of Tuesday she was listed in satisfactory condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.

The vehicle, a 2003 Suzuki GSX600, was southbound on Pinto Ridge Road when it left the roadway on the left side.

The vehicle was maneuvering a curve at the time of the wreck, and Grant County Sheriff's officials are still investigating the scenario.
