| July 3, 2012 6:00 AM

COULEE CITY - Grant County Sheriff's Deputies and Coulee City Police have found and arrested a wanted felon who fled the scene of a shots fired call here the morning of June 19.

Deputies and police were called at 5:30 that morning to a field just west of 617 West Douglas Street in Coulee City. While on the way to the call, police were told a wanted felon was possibly at the scene.

Arriving officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area and detained three occupants. Police then learned wanted felon Cody Seely, who was nearby in or near a shanty-type building, had probably fled the scene on foot as officers were stopping the car.
