ROYAL CITY - Royal's girls played on of their best basketball games of the year at Warden on Saturday, but it was too little in a 48-41 non-league defeat.

"Warden took it to us the last four minutes of the second quarter, and that started the ball rolling down the hill," coach Phil Daubel said.

The Knights were led by the 15 points of Stefhany Guadarrama. Lindsey and Moriah Christensen scored seven points each, and Lindsey took down seven rebounds.

The Knights play at Mabton tonight, host Connell on Friday and travel to Wahluke on Saturday.
