Idris Egbert Hebdon

An Elect Lady, Idris Egbert Hebdon, 91, of Royal City, Washington passed away in her home January 17, 2012.

A viewing will be held in Royal Camp at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Friday, January 20th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at the same location Saturday, January 21st at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior. She lived her childhood years in Ashton, Idaho. Being the oldest child, her very young years were employed as mom's helper, dad's go-for and siblings special big sister. Education was always very important to Idris. She excelled in school taking part in plays and music, as well as scholastic achievements. She was pleased to have graduated from Ricks Academy with a teaching certificate for the state of Idaho.

Idris met and married Keith Hebdon. Their journey led them to the Royal Slope, seven children, Dennis (Mary Ann) Hebdon, Ellen (Wayne)

Warnick, Shawna (David) Scorup, Troy (Linda) Hebdon, Terry (Elaine) Hebdon, Hollis Hebdon (deceased), Sherri (Bryan) Larson, 67 years of

marriage, 35 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

One more joy of her life was many, many good friends and neighbors. She put forth great effort to make and keep good friends.

Idris was preceded in death by one son, two granddaughters and husband, Keith.

Family, faith and country were most precious possessions. Her strength, fortitude and unconquerable spirit allowed her to hold dear

to these core values. She also loved many special sayings, nuggets of thought and well expressed messages. All who knew her will remember her giving, loving and befriending of all.
