MARDON RESORT - The 2011-2012 waterfowl season has been extremely challenging. Simply, the Pacific Flyway in central Washington has been without the forecasted number of waterfowl. However, we continue to find good hunts for both ducks and geese. Our business, The Duck Taxi, has hunted Potholes Reservoir five mornings in the past 40 days due to an absence of ducks and encroaching ice! Optimistic waterfowl hunters are hoping the Artic-Blast starting Jan. 17 will finally bring the Northern Birds to central Washington before the end of waterfowl season Jan. 29.

If you are in the area, please stop by the Trac in Pasco for the Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show. MarDon will be in booth 227 in the Exhibition Hall all weekend.
