SCHOOL BOND

Reader wants people to vote 'no'

The Moses Lake School District will have a new school bond of $115 million and a proposed higher levy for schools on the February ballot. If these two issues pass, there will be an increase in property taxes for property owners, which will be passed on to the people renting their property. If you don't want an increase in your rent, vote no. It is important that this word gets around because the school district personnel and the unions will be out in full force to try to get you to vote yes. Remember to vote no.
