EPHRATA – A man whom witnesses say was attempting to sell marijuana right under the noses of authorities was cited for possession and released by Grant County Sheriff's deputies on Jan. 10.

According to Sheriff Tom Jones, citizens notified his office that an adult man wearing a red coat and baseball cap was trying to sell marijuana to people in front of the Grant County Courthouse.

Jones said deputies found Andrew Allen Kramer, 22, of Grand Coulee, on the courthouse's front lawn with a strong odor of marijuana. They found 20.5 grams of portioned and packaged marijuana in his pockets.

The marijuana was seized into evidence. Kramer was arrested, cited for possession and released.

“This one speaks for itself,” Jones said.
