MOSES LAKE - The Runnin' Vikes bounced back from an 18 points loss to Yakima Valley last Wednesday with a resounding 95-65 win over Wenatchee Valley Community College (WVCC) Saturday.

Big Bend Community College (BBCC) had four players score in double figures, led by Blake Skidmore who knocked down 28 points in the winning effort. Ryan Page and Spencer Pingel added 14 each and Moses Lake product Josh Loera finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, four steals and five assists.

The game was competitive in the first half of play as BBCC took a 46-36 lead at intermission. But the second half of action was a different story altogether as the Runnin' Vikes out scored the Knights 49-29 to win in a cake walk. Turnovers and baskets from behind the arc were a major factors in the win as BBCC made 10 of 33 shot attempts and scored 32 points of WVCC miscues.

"I was very pleased with the way our players bounced back from a tough loss in Yakima," coach Mark Poth said. "The win improves our record to 2-1 in league play and 12-2 overall."

The Runnin' Vikes are back in action this weekend when they travel to Oregon Friday week to take on Blue Mountain Community College, and Saturday to face Treasure Valley.
