PURSUANT TO RCW 39.33.020, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the

Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Grays Harbor County

of a public hearing

PURSUANT TO RCW 39.33.020, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Grays Harbor County of a public hearing  to declare the District’s two, GE-10 simple cycle gas turbine generators (CT Unit #3 and CT Unit #4) and related parts and equipment, unserviceable and unfit to be used in the District’s operations and no longer necessary, material to, or useful in its operations, and surplus to the District’s needs and not required for providing continued public utility service, and to offer for sale the CT Units pursuant to the guidelines associated with the disposal of surplus property.  In addition to the two CT Units, the District proposes to declare as surplus and offer for sale its ownership interest in the real property consisting of the Pasco CT plant which has a physical address of 2000 North Railroad Avenue, Pasco, Washington 99301.  The real property is presently being used as the location and operating facility for four, gas turbine generators.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a public hearing of the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Grays Harbor County shall be held on Thursday, January 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, in the Franklin County PUD Offices located at 1411 West Clark, Pasco, Washington, 99302.  The hearing will be before the Commission of Public Utility District No. 1 of Grays Harbor County, at which time and place any person may appear and present evidence and argument for or against the adoption of the District’s proposal to declare the CT units and related real property surplus.
