Marina C. Gonzalez, 83, Moses Lake resident passed away January 5, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Moses Lake United Methodist Church, 746 Ironwood Drive, Pastor Steve Rice officiating. Interment will be at 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 11th at Quincy Cemetery. Marina was born July 11, 1928 at Rio Grande, Texas, daughter of the late Bernardo and Anita (Rivera) Casas. She married Apolinar A. Gonzalez, her beloved late husband, "Paul," on February 16, 1947. They made their home in Texas until moving to Quincy in 1952. After retirement from her work at the Lamb Weston Connell plant, the family came to Moses Lake in 1997. Marina cherished her fishing trips with Paul, especially to the Lost Lake campgrounds in the Okanogan forest. She treasured her time with her grandchildren and enjoyed tending her garden and beautiful roses. She was especially skilled at crochet work in lovely tablecloths and linens, and brought happiness to her family with her gifts of creativity and her bright spirit. We love you and will deeply miss you always.

Survivors include sisters, Leonor Saenz, Rosita Lopez, Guadalupe Bazan, all of Rio Grande City, Texas and Elva Garza, Round Rock, Texas; one brother, Heliberto Casas, Rio Grande City, Texas; daughters, Alicia Gonzalez and Matilde Robledo, both of Moses Lake, Hilda Gonzalez, Federal Way; sons, Rogelio Gonzalez, Tacoma and Roberto Gonzalez of Boise, ID; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Ezequel, Enrique, and Martin Casas, and one son, Ricardo Gonzalez.
