NOTICE TO EQUIPMENT BIDDERS

Sealed bids, plainly marked “Bid for Two-Way Radios and

Programming Services, Equipment Contract 2012-01",    will be

received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County

Commissioners located in the County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW -

Room 207, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata, WA  98823, until   1:30 PM,

Tuesday, January 24, 2012,  and will then and there be opened and

publicly read for furnishing and delivering:

Sealed bids, plainly marked “Bid for Two-Way Radios and Programming Services, Equipment Contract 2012-01",    will be received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners located in the County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW - Room 207, P.O. Box 37, Ephrata, WA  98823, until   1:30 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012,  and will then and there be opened and publicly read for furnishing and delivering:

Informational copies of the proposal and specifications are on file with the County Engineer in the Grant County Public Works Building, 124 Enterprise St. S.E., Ephrata, WA  98823.

Any bidder offering new equipment must include in their proposal an offer to purchase the trade-in equipment.  Grant County assumes the new equipment bidder's trade-in offer is a part of the bid including the new equipment.  The bidder's trade-in offer will only be considered separately if the bidder completes Part II of the Proposal and provides a 5% bid security or checks the box to permit consideration of a trade-in offer separately.

Any person or company may make an offer to purchase the trade-in equipment independent of a bid on the sale of the new equipment.  Such offers shall be made on forms provided by the County in Part II of the Proposal.  The bidders are advised that the radio equipment will continue to be used until replacement radios and programming services are delivered.  The County is offering the following trade-ins:

Trade-Ins:   

All equipment is offered “AS IS”.  Prospective buyers may view the equipment at the convenience of the operator.  Please call the department to make arrangements to inspect the equipment.  All radio equipment is operating and currently in-service.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject or accept any or all portions of the bids received.
