Donald D. Trump, born on June 1, 1930, passed away on January 23, 2012, at home beside his loving wife of 49 years in Moses Lake, WA. He leaves behind 6 children; Sandy Brewer of Lawson, MO, Donald D. Trump Jr. of Henderson, NV, Velma Henry of Ellensburg, WA, Fayette Gordon of Ellensburg, WA, Mariette Leader of Spanaway, WA, Norma King of Kansas City, MO. Brother-in-law Richard Watkins of Moses Lake, WA, brother Frank Trump of Everett, WA, sisters Adele Marriotti and Ardie Babcock of Bonney Lake, WA. Seven grandchildren, ten greats, and one great great. His family moved to California in 1937. He lived in California till 1944, when they came to Enumclaw, WA where he graduated from high school in 1948. He was in the Navy and reserves from 1948 till 1955. We owned a tavern in Puyallup, WA and one in Tacoma in 1968 till 1970. Don drove truck 20 years for Woodworth in Tacoma. Retired in 1991, fantastic apartment in Tacoma 26+ years and on a farm in Yelm 5 years before moving to Moses Lake in 2001. He was presided in death by father David Trump, mother, Mariette Trump, son, Frankie Trump, sister MaryLou Hyatt. I would like to give my heart felt thanks to hospice of Moses Lake for their loving care of both of us.
Mandy (grand daughter) sent this message to him,
"If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. But memories are just memories and tears are just tears, and so I will miss you all through the years."
There will be happy time at the American Legion on February 25th at 1pm, 538 W. Broadway in Moses Lake, WA. I invite friends and family to share this time.
