District basketball games begin Monday
MOSES LAKE - The 1B, 2B and 2A conference district boys and girls basketball playoffs get under way next week.
The teams and seedings won't be determined until the regular season ends this weekend as the top teams in each conference are all within a game or two of each other.
The following is a peak at the bracket breakdowns and possible locations for each conference.
The 1B Central Washington District Tournament will take place in Soap Lake Feb. 13, 14 and 16. The girls play at 6 p.m., and the boys at 7:30. The No. 1 seed faces the No. 4 seed, and the No. 2 seed plays the No. 3 seeded team.
The locations for the 2B Central Washington and 2A CWAC District Tournaments will be based on final standings with the lower seeded teams playing at the higher seeded school.
The No. 1 and No. 2 seeded teams have a first round bye. The No. 6 seeded team plays at the No. 3 seeded high school, and the No. 5 seed at the No. 4 seed. Times are yet to be determined.
