On January 9, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. the Planning Commission of the

City of Connell considered a request for an Exception to lot size

requirement.

NOTICE OF DECISION

Short Subdivision: Application Granted

Property Owner:    Black Sand Landing, LLC

Site Location:    Parcel No. 106-700-063, located on the South half

        of the North half of the Northwest quarter, Section

         32, Township 14 North, Range 32 East, W.M.,             Franklin County.

Zoning:        Agriculture (Ag)

On January 9, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. the Planning Commission of the City of Connell considered a request for an Exception to lot size requirement. 

The Planning Commission recommended approval of this request by the following motion:

Motion: Commission Member Bowen moved to recommend approval of the request for Exception as presented in the staff report with recommended conditions of approval.  Commission Member Ferguson seconded.  Motion passed unanimously.

Furthermore, on February 1, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. the City Council of the City of Connell considered a recommendation from the Planning Commission for the approval of an Exception to Short Plat Application.  The City Council approved this recommendation by the following motion:

Motion:  Councilmember Barrow moved to approve the Planning Commission’s recommendation to grant an Exception to the City’s Agriculture Zone pertaining to the Short Plat Application submitted by Black Sand Landing, LLC for Parcel No. 106-700-063, and approve the Findings of Fact as written.  Councilmember Quinton seconded motion.  Motion carried unanimously.

This action is exempt from SEPA compliance by not having a significant adverse environmental impact.

An appeal may be made by the party of record to the Franklin County Superior Court within 21 days of this notice in accord with Chapter 16A.08.090.
