Legal Notice of Term Expiration, Franklin County Noxious Weed Control Board

All persons interested in appointment to the Franklin County

Noxious Weed Control Board and residing in the sections with a

pending nomination must obtain from the Franklin County Noxious

Weed Board Office an application packet.

All persons interested in appointment to the Franklin County Noxious Weed Control Board and residing in the sections with a pending nomination must obtain from the Franklin County Noxious Weed Board Office an application packet. The application form along with the signatures of at least ten (10) registered voters residing in that section supporting the nominations must be returned to the Franklin County Noxious Weed Control Board Office by 10am February 17, 2012 located at 502 Boeing St. Pasco WA 99301, 509-545-3847. This is a non-paid position.

The Board consists of five (5) voting members. At least four (4) of the voting members shall be engaged in the primary production of agriculture products.

Each voting member of the board shall serve a four (4) year term. The expiration date for any given term will be March 1.

Director’s terms from Sections two (2) and Section three (3) will expire March 1, 2012. Section two (2) consists of current voting precincts 77, 78, 79, 80, 98 and 99. Section three (3) consists of current voting precincts 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, and 87.

The Franklin County Commissioners will appoint from nominations received by February 17, 2012.
