Connell Grain represented at national event

MOSES LAKE - Grant County's agricultural industry was recently given the spotlight during the CHS New Leaders Forum, sponsored by CHS Inc., in Minneapolis, Minn. earlier this month.

Rett Watkins, of Warden, was selected to represent Moses Lake company Connell Grain and joined about 300 other producers from across the United States at the national forum.

Participants of the three-day forum met with experts on agriculture and technology, including representatives from John Deere and Monsanto. Watkins and other members of the New Leaders group also learned about the opportunities and challenges that face agricultural communities in rural America.
