Notice is hereby given that a request for a Variance was received on 12/5/12 from Don & Claudette Grotewold, PO Box 759, Moses Lake, WA 98837, (Contact: Western Pacific Engineering, 1328 E. Hunter Place, Moses Lake, WA) and was found to be Technically Complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of 12/19/12. PROJECT: The proponent seeks a variance to GCC § 23.12, Table 1, which states that the side setback for the Urban Residential 3 Zone is 5 feet. The applicant is proposing a 0 foot setback in order to divide a lot with an existing duplex. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Short Plat. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The property is located at 226 & 228 Loring Drive, Moses Lake, also known as Lot 195 of the Larson Subdivision. Located in a portion of S. 4, T. 19 N, R. 28 E, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel# 31-0195-000. ZONING: Urban Residential 3. Required mitigation will be pursuant to UDC.
