David H. Arbuckle

David H. "Dave" Arbuckle, 75, a 50 year resident of Moses Lake, Washington passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 after a very brave fight against cancer.

Dave was born November 10, 1937 in Spokane, Washington to John & Margaret Arbuckle. Dave was raised in Wilson Creek, Washington and graduated from Wilson Creek High School in 1955. Dave also attended Central Washington University from 1955 to 1956. He met the love of his life, Jolane D. "Jody" Peterson in 1965 and they married on July 15, 1967.

Jody preceded him in death in 2008.

Dave worked for Grant County road district for 35 years, retiring in 1996 as supervisor. Dave was an avid golfer, sharing this passion with Jody, they spent much of their time pursuing this hobby as much as possible at the Sage Hills Golf Club where they had been members for over 20 years. He also enjoyed golfing with his many friends and spending time with family.

Dave is survived by his children: Jim Arbuckle, Kim (Rick) Eisenbrandt, Kim Mckew and Kara (Steve) Knutson; grandchildren: Heather Howell, Athena (Pat) Reimer, Rick Eisenbrandt, Brad (Raksmey) Osborne, Sierra (Christopher) Ceccarelli, Derek Knutson and Dustin Knutson; great-grandchildren: Derrick, Danielle, Sawyer, Brooklynn, Abbigail, Dylan and honorary grandchildren Allie and Josh Knutson.

Dave will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a kind and passionate sole and will be deeply missed.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Kayser's Chapel with Pastor Paul Wagner officiating. Private interment will be in Guarding Angels Cemetery next to his wife, Jody.
