Reader suggests another safety measure for schools

To the Superintendant of Schools in Grant County and surrounding areas: I understand that there are safety precautionary measures at our schools. There are cameras, polices officers and lock downs. But what about the glass windows, by which I understand the Connecticut gunman entered Sandy Hook Elementary?

If the Superintendant of Schools (in Connecticut) would have thought to put in bullet-proof windows, maybe this tragedy would have never happened. My heart and prayers reach out to all those who have lost their loved ones in the tragedy. God bless you all.
