College readiness conference registration closes Friday

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake High School and Columbia Basin Secondary School students and parents are being invited to learn about the possibilities for and the challenges of getting a post-secondary education at the Gear Up 4 Tomorrow conference Jan. 12.
Advance registration is required and open through Friday. Registration packets are available at the high school or on the district website, www.moseslakeschools.org/. The conference will be at Big Bend Community College.
The agenda will include discussions about qualifying for and obtaining scholarships, studying abroad, financial aid and admissions planning.
Representatives from a number of colleges will have information booths as well.
Admission is free, and a raffle is planned.
