Potholes Reservoir has been difficult for bird hunting for the first time this season. Fog has been a real issue with only 80 yards visibility or less on most days.

We now have many different field hunting options with pit blinds in corn, winter wheat, and timothy hay. If hunting out of a lay down blind is not an option for you then give us a call and let us know that you would like to hunt out of a pit for geese. Remember goose hunting is only open Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday. Also, goose hunting is open the week between Christmas and New Years and the last week of the season.

Looking for something fun to do for New Year's Eve this year that is close to home? We will have a party at the Beach House at MarDon on Jan. 31, with dinner and drink specials and karaoke and fireworks. Need a place to stay within walking distance of the Beach House, call (509) 346-2651 for a cottage or room reservation.
