Sealed bids will be received by Franklin County Board of County Commissioners, Pasco, Washington until 9:00 a.m., prevailing local time, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 for the Franklin County Jail Addition and Remodel / City of Pasco Municipal Courts Addition.

Sealed bids will be received by Franklin County Board of County Commissioners, Pasco, Washington until 9:00 a.m., pre.vailing local time, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 for the Franklin County Jail Addition and Remodel / City of Pasco Municipal Courts Addition. Bids may be mailed or delivered to the Franklin County Commissioners Office at the Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 N. 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301.

It will be the sole responsibility of bidders to ensure bids are in the possession of the Franklin County Commissioners’ Office by the appointed date and time.

Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday January 16, 2013, in the Franklin County Court.house, Commissioners Meeting Room. Bidders and other interested parties are invited to be present at the bid opening.

A pre-bid conference and tour will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2013 starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Franklin County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room. Attendance is strongly recommended.

Bidding Documents are available after December 13, 2012 from LCA+pH Architects, 1221 Shoreline Lane, Boise, Idaho, 83702, phone (208) 345-6677. A fully refundable deposit of $500.00 will be required to obtain sets of the documents. Deposits will be refunded upon the return of bid documents, with all addenda, in good condition within 10 business days after the bid opening.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required.

A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Washington is required to bid on this work.

State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this project located in Franklin County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The “Effective Date” for this project is the Bid Proposal due date above. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found at the Department of Labor and Industries website located at https: //fortress.wa.gov/lni/wagelookup/prvWagelookup.aspx.

The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, or to waive irregularities in the bidding process.
