Students of month named at Royal
December Students of the Month
ROYAL CITY - The December students of the month at Royal High School were recently named by counselor Marge Edwards.
The SOM are selected by the school's educational staff from a list of nominees. Character traits considered in the process include academics and citizenship.
The November senior SOM was Yesica Torres-Tovar, daughter of Ana Maria Torres-Tovar of Royal City.
Carmen Rodriguez, daughter of Martin and Josefina Rodriguez of Royal City, was the junior SOM.
The sophomore SOM for November was Vanessa Corona, daughter of Elias and Maria Corona of Royal City.
Elsie Delgado, daughter of Eusevio Delgado of Royal City, was the freshman SOM.
