MOSES LAKE - Although the Moses Lake Ramada is one of hundreds of Ramada hotel chains around the world, brothers Tim and Matthew Molitor have worked hard to make sure their Moses Lake location stands out.

Their dedication to the hotel has paid off, as the Moses Lake Ramada was recently recognized for being among the top 5 percent of Ramadas worldwide, earning the hotel a "Best of 2012" award.

The Molitor brothers have run the Moses Lake Ramada since it opened in January 2008, and this is the third year in a row their location has received the award.

"There's about 800 Ramadas around the world," said Tim Molitor, sales manager for the Moses Lake Ramada. "For Ramada, the award is a big deal.

Molitor credits his hardworking staff as the reason the hotel has continued to earn top marks in cleanliness, revenues and hotel occupancy.

Lead housekeeper Gloria Villegas and breakfast manager Debbie Matthynssens, along with the hotel's other front desk and housekeeping staff, keep the Moses Lake Ramada in top shape, he said.

"It's the third year we received the award, and it's great," said Molitor. "And it's mainly because of our awesome staff."

Molitor said guest reviews and scores from secret shoppers helped the Moses Lake Ramada stand out among other locations.
