Reader supports Kernan for MLIRD board

Please give Ken Kernan your vote on Dec. 11.

We need to get the dredge back in the water and operating. Maybe there is a different way to remove the sedimentation, but right now our dredge is what we have been licensed for, so let's use it. We just lost 20 percent of our allotted operating time; let's not lose any more.

MLIRD needs to have five directors to avoid the current impasse and give ratepayers a broader base of representation.

MLIRD does not need more land; they have 125 acres currently that need attention. Let's not waste any more of your dollars on mobile homes that sit in Portland, Ore. unused.

Ken Kernan will address all of these issues with your input. On Dec. 11, please cast your vote for Ken Kernan.
