Reader questions Kernan's claims

Ken Kernan says he will bring balance to MLIRD. Ken was director of Ron Covey's campaign last year. Does Ken ignore his own partisanship? Ken also raises the issue of challenge to our water right. Who would challenge our 80-year-old water right and dry up more than 4,000 acres within the district? Ken needs to state names and present facts, less he be accused of fear-mongering.

Voters of the MLIRD would do well to compare the platform of both candidates. David Skaug has run a business, managed multi-million dollar contracts, hired and fired employees, and signed the front of many pay checks. Compare their literature. I am convinced we are fortunate to have David Skaug as a candidate. Like David says, "We are all concerned about the quality of the lake." David Skaug has the experience to evaluate all our options.
