Christmas program scheduled

MATTAWA - The fourth annual Community Christmas Program at the LDS chapel in Mattawa will be celebrated on Sunday, Dec. 9, and all families are invited. Admission will be free.

There will be refreshments, and the 7 p.m. program will include a community choir directed by Karen Garner. The Choir will be accompanied by Lorraine Jenne.

The community choir will perform two special numbers: "Unto Us a Child is Born" and "The Nativity Song," which will include a live nativity.

There will be singing of Christmas carols that will include the audience. A Children's Choir will perform.

There will be a flute solo, "Ave Ave the Angels Sing," performed by Rebecca Cook from Prosser. Children will be performing piano solos. Other performances will be heard as well.

There will plenty of parking and seating.
