Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA Checklist to enable the development of a private commercial airfield on approximately 19.52 acres in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. The proposed airfield will be used to provide commercial aerial application of agricultural crop protection products that include herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. Said development will include a graveled runway, a paved taxiway, a storage/office building, one additional storage building, a container storage area, water storage tanks, mixing tanks, a concrete containment pad, and a 20,000-gallon self-contained, above-ground fuel storage tank and fuel dispensing unit. The subject parcel is located approximately 4 miles northeast of Moses Lake, WA, and approximately 0.38 miles east of the intersection of Road 7 NE and Road L NE, and in a portion of Section 31, Township 20 North, Range 29 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcels #18-0372-002 & #19-0312-001).

After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.
