High school football kicks off tonight

MOSES LAKE - Another exciting season of gridiron action begins tonight as several local high school teams butt heads with one another.

The following is a look at who is playing whom:

The Moses Lake Chiefs head south to Walla Walla to take on the Blue Devils in a non league contest.

Soap Lake hosts Almira/Coulee-Hartline a 7 p.m. This the Eagles first game of 8-man football since the early 90s.

The Ephrata Tigers take a hop, skip and a jump to Quincy to match up with the Jacks in a non league game at 7 p.m.

Quincy has moved down a classification this season and is now a member of the 1A Caribou Trail League.

Warden High School has also dropped down a classification to the 1A SCAC league. The Cougars travel to Okanogan to face the Bulldogs.

The Othello Huskies host the Connell Eagles at 7 p.m., and the Lind-Ritzville-Sprague Broncos host a jamboree at 6 p.m.

Note: The Moses Lake Chiefs volleyball team travels to Cheney today to take part in the WIAA Volleyball Classic.

The action gets underway at 5 p.m. The Moses Lake girl soccer team is at Post Falls Saturday
