Simon Valcarlos, 72, longtime resident of Royal City, Washington passed away at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 23, 2012.
Simon was born in Larrainzar Spain. He came to the USA in 1966 and started farming in 1977. His passion was farming and he loved getting up in the morning to walk through his fields and check his crops. It was his favorite time of day. He was a faithful husband of 42 years and a doting father and grandfather.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Maria Valcarlos and two children Elena and Alberto, his daughter-in-law Claudina, and granddaughter Isabella as well as several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews living here and in Spain.
Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at St. Michael's Parish in Royal City immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com.
