Foundation to sponsor scholarship run

MOSES LAKE - The Big Bend Community College Foundation will sponsor a five-kilometer walk and run Sept. 22 to raise money for scholarships.
This will be the second year for the Dollar Dash, said race director Judy Oakes. Entry fee is $25 per person. Participants will hit the road at 9:30 a.m.
The course takes runners and walkers around the campus on College Parkway, starting at the ATEC Building. Advance registration will be accepted up to race day, with runners registering by Sept. 14 receiving a race shirt.
Registration forms are available at the college business office and library, the BBCC Foundation office, Moses Lake Park and Recreation office and the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce.
