Last day to sign up for camp

MOSES LAKE - The deadline for signing up for the decade-old Grid Kids football camp has been extended through today. Kids will learn the basic fundamentals of tackling, throwing and catching a football.

First and second graders will participate in flag football, while third through sixth will take part in full contact football.

Future Chiefs will play 10 games over the six week long season, and will be performing at Lions Field during halftime at Moses Lake High School home games.

The cost to attend the camp is $40 for first and second graders, and $125 for third through sixth.

Registration forms are available at Moses Lake Parks and Recreation. Kids can also sign up at the high school on opening day of the camp.
