Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is accepting letters of intent to bid for Aging Network Chore (ANC) offered primarily to those age 60+ or others meeting specific criteria for ANC services.
Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) is accepting letters of intent to bid for Aging Network Chore (ANC) offered primarily to those age 60+ or others meeting specific criteria for ANC services. Services must include all 6 counties (Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, and Okanogan Counties excluding the Colville Reservation). The services are provided on a temporary basis to clients residing in their own homes to prevent unnecessary residential placement & to protect clients from unsafe or unhealthy conditions. Clients must need help with at least one personal care task: ambulation, bathing, body care, dressing, eating, personal hygiene, positioning, self-medication, toileting, transferring. Clients can also receive assistance with household tasks such as: essential shopping, housework, laundry, meal preparation, travel to medical services, wood supply. Initial contract 1/1/13-12/31/13. Current services provided 1/1/12 -12/31/12: 10,890.50 hrs. Contracts will be reimbursed on a unit rate basis & are renewable up to 4 years.
The maximum negotiable reimbursement rate is $17.41 for services provided plus $2.15 for Agency Worker Health Insurance (AWHI) and $0.21 for Caregiver Training Tuition Reimbursement. Monthly & quarterly reports with support documentation required. Workers must receive Basic Health insurance or private market health insurance, orientation/safety training & required caregiver training.
Formal letters of intent to bid per program must be received by 4:00 p.m. on August 24, 2012, at AACCW, 50 Simon St. SE, Suite A, E. Wenatchee, WA 98802. Only agencies responding with a letter of intent to bid will be allowed to compete in the procurement process.
