Francis Martin Johnsen

Francis Martin Johnsen, age 89, passed away in Pasco, WA, on Monday, June 25, 2012.

Francis was fifth of ten children born to Inger and Neils Johnsen. He was born in Wilson Creek, WA on October 2, 1922, and was raised there. Francis married the love of his life, Betty, on February 26, 1952, in Spokane, WA, and recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. He worked as a farmer/ranch hand in Wilson Creek.

Francis is survived by his wife, Betty, of Kennewick, WA, and their six sons: Charles and his wife Sharon of Lynnwood, WA, Kenneth of Richland, WA, Tommy and Rhonda of Kennewick, WA, Donald and wife Terri of Richland, WA, David and wife Kim of Richland, WA, and Ronnie and wife Heidi of Sequim, WA.

He is also survived by granddaughter Rachael, her husband Craig Brandon, of Puyallup, WA; grandson Jason, his wife Jedi of Carlsbad, NM; grandson Benjamin of Lynnwood, WA, granddaughter Caitlin of Lynnwood, WA, grandson Justin of Richland, WA, grandson Daniel of Lynnwood, WA, granddaughter Mikayla of Richland, WA, granddaughter Erin of Lynnwood, WA, great grandson Brian and wife Alisha of Kennewick, WA, great granddaughter Kennedy of Puyallup, WA, great grandson Chance of Carlsbad, NM, great grandson Dyllin of Carlsbad, NM, and great granddaughter Kallie of Puyallup, WA.

Francis is also survived by sisters Nell Fuller and Eileen Jones.

Francis is preceded in death by his mother, Inger; father Neils, and siblings Marvin, Katherine, Andrew, Lottie, Bertha, Jack, and Peter.

Services will be held on August 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., at the Wilson Creek Cemetary with a potluck to follow at the Baptist Church in Wilson Creek.
