Michelle L. Escamilla

Michelle L. Escamilla, 44, our beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. She was at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane surrounded by loving family. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Moses Lake Alliance Church, 1100 North Grape Drive with Pastor Jody Bowser officiating. Michelle was born on March 19, 1968 in Moses Lake, Washington. She was raised and educated in Warden, Washington, graduating in 1986. After high school she studied accounting at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, eventually becoming a payroll specialist, most recently at Moses Lake Community Health. Michelle married Arnold Escamilla on August 27, 1994 and they made their home in Moses Lake along with their beautiful daughters, Erika and Selina.

Michelle was an active member of the Moses Lake Alliance Church. She enjoyed boating, gardening, and loved spending time with family and friends. Her bright smile and sunny spirit will be sorely missed and forever remembered by many who loved her deeply.

Michelle is survived by her husband Arnold Escamilla; daughters Erika and Selina Escamilla; father Dale (Lanita) Pomeroy; mother Gayle (Dan) Kimble-Sullivan; sisters, April Seibel, Alisha Sullivan, Debbie Henderson, Amy Hendrickson, Lori Van Dyke, Shelly Marr, and Katie Ofstun; brothers Shawn Pomeroy, Kenneth Sullivan, Daniel "D.J." Sullivan, and Michael Ofstun; and paternal grandfather Stewart Pomeroy.

She is preceded by 3 infant children, Rachel, Brianna and Benjamin; mother and father-in-law Santiago and Bernardina Escamilla; paternal grandmother Artie Pomeroy; maternal grandparents Ken and Anita Kimble; and numerous other family members.
