Enquest, Lennon, Hayes win men's golf

CRESCENT BAR - Playing a Stableford game, in which plus scores win, Paul Enquest, Gordon Lennon and Dave Hayes took the top spot at the Aug. 1 men's day at Crescent Bar Golf Course.

The game of the day was 3-man teams in a Stableford format, with closest-to-the-pin (KP) competition on hole No. 6/15. Enquest, Lennon, and Hayes produced 47 points.

The second place winners were Bill Sprague, Ron Harkness, and Wes Prinzen with 43 points. Third place was won by Bert Lucas, Tom Harris, and Bob Wells with 42 points.

The division I KP winner was Ron Harkness at a distance of 6-11. The division II winner was Jerry Hoene with an effort of 1-2.

Birdies were scored by Bill Parker on hole No. 5, Dave Hayes on hole No. 1, Ron Harkness on hole No. 15 and Tom Harris on holes 12 and 16.
