Woman dead in Moses Lake collision

MOSES LAKE — A 19-year-old woman died and two others were injured in a collision on state Route 17 near Moses Lake.

Delia Chavez, Moses Lake, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am south on state Route 17 when she crossed the center line, hitting a 1999 Honda Accord. The collision occurred about two miles south of Moses Lake, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Washington State Patrol. The Accord’s driver, Adaline J. Warren, and passenger, Colt C. Warren, both 24, of Mesa, were transported to Samaritan Healthcare.
