Hector G. Adamos

Hector G. Adamos, 63, a longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, his loving family at his side. Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m., Friday, August 10, 2012 immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.Interment will follow at Guarding Angels Cemetery. Hector was born on February 2, 1949 in Zapata, Texas, son of the late Robert and Marguerita (Gonzalez) Adams. He was raised and educated in Texas. On January 2, 1973 Hector married Eva DeLeon in Sinton, Texas and they moved to Moses Lake where they have lived since. In the 1970's and 80's he owned and operated his own trucking business. Hethen went to work for Grant County Road District 2 working in road construction before retiring in early 2000.

Hector enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard work (especially his roses) and he loved spending time with family. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Adamos, Moses Lake; son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Jaime Adamos, Moses Lake; grandchildren,Anthony Homer, Hannah Adamos, Ethan Adamos, and Jaiden Adamos, all of Moses Lake; siblings, Adela & Adolfo "Chopo" Moreno, Moses Lake,Angie & Fidel Vigil, Hereford, TX, Filemon G. & Leticia Valdez, Jr., Hereford, TX, Veva Valdez, Canyon, TX, Diana & Joe DeLeon, Round Rock, TX, Jarvis Valdez, San Angelo, TX, and James & Elsa Valdez,Lubbock, TX; aunt, Esmeralda Alvarado & husband David, Moses Lake; very special cousins, Homer & Mary Garza, Hortencia Zapata, and Rosalinda Pena, all of Mathis, TX; and numerous other family members. Hector was preceded in death by his loving grandparents who raised him, Epifanio & Rita Gonzalez, an infant son, Eduardo, brother and sister-in-law, Enrique & Adelina Galvan, brother, Caser Valdez, and best friend Porfirio "Pete" Alvarado, Jr.
