TRINIDAD - It's only a couple of weeks until the annual Bread, Cheese and Cured Meats Festival at White Heron Cellars.

Bread, Cheese and Cured Meats will be held on Saturday, August 18, starting at 6 p.m.

Vinman's Bakery from Ellensburg, Alpine Lakes Cheese from Blewett Pass, and cured meats from Glondo's Sausage in Cle Elum will participate.

To complete the Kittitas Valley theme, Open Country Joy from Ellensburg will bring its funky jam band sound and keep everybody dancing.

White Heron proprietor Cameron Fries noted Vinman's and Alpine Lakes Cheese have offered their bread and cheese before. Glondo's will be new to the winery.

"Glondo's has been making superb cured meats in the Italian tradition for many years," Fries said.

Admission will be $10 at the door to cover the musicians. Bread, cheese, and meat will be available for purchase from the individual vendors.
