The Port of Moses Lake is seeking a qualified contractor for construction of the East Terminal Apron Reconstruction - Phase 2 at the Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, Washington.

EAST TERMINAL APRON RECONSTRUCTION - PHASE 2, AIP PROJECT NO. 3-53-0039-038

The Port of Moses Lake is seeking a qualified contractor for construction of the East Terminal Apron Reconstruction - Phase 2 at the Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, Washington. The major construction elements for the project include approximately 25,000 to 30,000 square yards of full-depth Portland Cement Concrete aircraft parking apron pavement reconstruction, apron flood lighting, and pavement marking.

Sealed bids shall be addressed to the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE, Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA 98837, and will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, August 16, 2012, and then will be publicly opened and read. Bids submitted after the above-specified time shall not be received or opened.

Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE, Suite 200, Moses Lake, WA 98837; and at the offices of the Engineer, Precision Approach Engineering, Inc., 119 Grand Avenue, Suite D, Bellingham, WA 98225, 360-733-1567, or 4575 SW Research Way, Suite 250, Corvallis, OR 97333, 541-754-0043.

A copy of the Documents may be obtained from the Engineer's Corvallis office upon payment of $35.00 for each Document. Return of the Documents is not required, and the amount paid for the Documents is nonrefundable.

This contract is for a public work subject to the State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries, and/or the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141, et seq). The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor or the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, whichever is higher, be paid under the Contract.

No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the PORT OF MOSES LAKE unless the Bidder is registered with the Washington State Department of Licenses, as required by RCW 18.27.

An optional prebid conference will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews Street NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837. A site visit will follow the prebid conference.
